Refurbished in 2008, The Hull Badminton Centre is the premier venue in the area with it’s purpose built hall containing four courts which provide excellent playing conditions. The centre is situated in a private members sports club, which offers a lounge and licensed bar which serves food and an off road car park. The sports club has a disabled access ramp, WC, shower and changing facilities. It also offers a home to other sports such as Squash, Football and Cricket.

The centre is run by a committee drawn from the players, the aim being to promote the playing of badminton at all levels. Any funds raised are used to improve the venue for the benefit of its users.

The Centre hosts numerous events. plays home to three premier clubs, county and local league matches, has coaching and school/club links, group taster days,  offers its self as a training base for the GB Deaf Team as well as holding Hull Junior, Senior and Veteran events throughout the year. The Hull Corporate Cup is a recent addition to the program of events and provides a platform to try and encourage people in the Hull and East Riding corporate arena to come together in a sporting contest to help with team building within their companies and promote an aspect of health and well being, but most of all to have fun and enjoy the day and is open the tournament invites all non league players who are currently employed by any company in the Hull & East Riding Business community.
